Important Notice about the use of the compulsory product certificate and mark of solvent wood coating announced by CNCA

In June 13, 2005, Certification and Accreditation Administration of People's Republic Of China aim at chemical products feature, in order to further regulate the management of the solvent wood coating compulsory certification and mark, issued Notice No. 13 in 2005. The Notice detailed the using ordain of the certificate and the certification mark of the “implementation rules of decoration and fitment products compulsory certification solvent wood coating" (CNCA-12C-049:2004), specific requirements are as follows :

1. Different division type of solvent wood coating packaging and marketing respectively, the requirements listed below:

Major resin type	division type	Information which must be described in certificate	The affixing way of 3C marks and the product information which must be described on the packaging
Gather ammonia Ester type	Single division type (coating type)	product name / category	Affix 3C marks to smallest sales package
Gather ammonia Ester type	Multi-division (coating+ solidify agent+ diluents agent)	1. Product Name / type; 2. Models and factories of solidify agent distribution; 3. Models and factories of diluents agent distribution;	1. Affix 3C marks to the small sales packages of the main coating, do not allowed to adding 3C marks on the solidity and diluents agent, 2. Construction ratio; 3. The information of solidify agent and diluents should be same as the description in the certificates.
Nitric type	Single division type (coating type)	Product Name / type;	Affix 3C marks to smallest sales package
Nitric type	Multi-division (coating+ solidify agent)	1. Product Name / type; 2. Models and factories of diluents agent distribution;	1. Affix 3C marks to the smallest sales packages of the main coating, do not allowed to adding 3C marks on the diluents agent, 2. Construction ratio; 3. The information of diluents should be same as the description on the certification certificates.
