Automobiles, motorcycles and motorcycle engine manufacturers:

In September 26, 2004, the Certifications and Accreditation Administration of the People’s Republic of China issued a Notice No. 26 of 2004, amend and perfect the inspection item and standard which were involved in the testing procedure and standards for projects and the corresponding revisions and improvements of the implementation of compulsory product certification categories of motor vehicle,  the revised" compulsory certification implementation rules for motor vehicle type (Motorcycles)"  (ID :CNCA-02C-024:2001/A1)", " compulsory certification implementation rules for motor vehicle type (Motorcycle Engine products) " (ID :CNCA-02C-025:2001/A1)," compulsory certification implementation rules for motor vehicles (cars) " (ID : CNCA-02C-023 :2002/A2) will come into effect since September 26, 2004.

According to the Certifications and Accreditation Administration of the People’s Republic of China Notice No. 26 of 2004 :Since March 1, 2005,motor vehicle products should got the compulsory certification and affix the compulsory certification mark according to original CCC certification rules and this amend notice before to leave factory ,import, distribution and use in operating activities.

Product certification department 3 of China Quality Certification Center began to accept applications for changing of version on September 26, 2004. At present, most enterprises have reapplied in accordance with the notice requirements and got a new CCC certificate.

To avoid the vehicle manufacturers will get a unnecessary loss because of failure to obtain new CCC certificates, Product certification department 3 of China Quality Certification Center has been once again reminded enterprises to contact with our department, apply for the change of CCC certificate, and get a new copy of the CCC certificate。
