Notification on update/ change of standards version and certificate conversion for electric welding machine
The electric welding machine enterprises:
According to the requirements of document <notice about implementation of standard GB19213-2003、GB15579.1-2004 >of Certification and Accreditation Administration of People's Republic Of China, the CCC certificate in accordance with standard JB3643-2000.GB15579-1995 for the welding machine has lapsed on January 1, 2006, which the related standards versions of the product have been updated / exchanged. To ensure that the applicant get the new standard certificate within the specified period of time, all relevant welding machine manufacturers send applications for changes to CQC as soon as possible. Now notify the issues in the implementation of the version change as follows:
First, the update/ change standards include:
GB19213-2003 (February 1, 2004) : instead of JB3643-2000
“Safety requirements for portable arc welding transformers ";
GB15579.1-2004 (August 1, 2004) : instead of GB15579-1995
"Arc welding equipment—Part 1:Welding power source ";
Second, products involves in this standard updating:
1. Portable AC arc welding machine (CCC Compulsory Certification)
2. GB15579-1995 evidence of arc welding power source products, such as AC arc welding machines, DC arc welding machine, TIG welding machine, welding machine energy model, submerged arc welding, plasma arc welding machine, plasma arc cutting machine (CCC compulsory certification covers)
Third, the time limit for conversion certificates: Since January 1, 2005 to December 31, 2005;
Fourth, the conversion way
1. Portable AC arc welding machines: apply for the changes, confirmed the change (for Nameplate photographs or drawings), direct reissued certificate
2. Arc welding power source products: apply for the changes, differences test, then reissued certificates
